This tea is both considered a daily tea and consumed as needed, up to 3 cups per day.

Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus)

Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) has long been revered as a powerful uterine tonic, helping to tone and strengthen reproductive muscles while supporting hormonal balance. Rubus idaeus Linnaeus (RI) is a Chinese herbal medicine that has been widely used in China for a long time to reinforce the kidney, nourish the liver, improve vision, and arrest polyuria. Current pharmacological research have shown that RI exhibited anti-oxidant, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, anti-Alzheimer, anti-osteoporosis, hepatoprotective, anti-cancer, neuroprotection, anti-bacterial, and skin-care effects.” [2] 

Red Clover (Trifolium pratense L.)

Marjoram (Origanum majorana L.)

Origanum majorana L. commonly known as sweet marjoram has been used for variety of diseases in traditional and folklore medicines, including gastrointestinal, ocular, nasopharyngeal, respiratory, cardiac, rheumatologic, and neurological disorders. Essential oil containing monoterpene hydrocarbons and oxygenated monoterpenes as well as phenolic compounds are chemical constituents isolated and detected in O majorana. Wide range of pharmacological activities including antioxidant, hepatoprotective, cardioprotective, anti-platelet, gastroprotective, antibacterial and antifungal, antiprotozoal, antiatherosclerosis, anti-inflammatory, antimetastatic, antitumor, antiulcer, and anticholinesterase inhibitory activities have been reported from this plant in modern medicine. Emmenagogue properties of sweet marjoram should be concerned during pregnancy. Its essential oil must not be used by lactating and pregnant women.” [5]

Upon evaluation of this trial, the results of present study demonstrated that, non-hormonal treatment options (lifestyle changes and marjoram) are viable for the treatment of VMS (Vasomotor Symptoms) in menopausal women. It can reduce the intensity and frequency of VMS. ” [6]
